Melinda bring this beautiful boy home to those who love him, keep him not from another occasion where his little heart can be filled with the love and warmth of those awaiting his return. Their can be no happiness for anyone whilst you stay illegally away, hiding Andrew from the truth. I often wonder how his physiological state must be with all the ducking and weaving it must take to remain incognito. You’re an intelligent woman Melinda so get smart and do the right thing for the longer you stay hidden away the more damage you are causing your sons emotional well being. Happy Easter Andrew where ever you are, and hold on little man we will find you love Kazzie xoxo 1 April 2010 - australia Ken Thompson (Andrew's Dad) | Three more very significant international missing children organisations joined the Global Search for Andrew campaign this week. At the request of the Australian Federal Police & the Australian Government, the US National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) & the International Center for Missing & Exploited Children (ICMEC) are now using their considerable resources to help with the search. ICMEC was founded in 1998 by the U.S.- based National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. It works to identify and coordinate a global network of organisations fighting child exploitation and abduction. ICMEC brings several important things to the search for Andrew by: • using a global resource to find missing children; • sending Andrew's & Melinda's details to national centres and affiliates worldwide, and • using their international network to disseminate images of and information about Andrew & his mother. ICMEC also works very closely with national & international law enforcement agencies, such as Interpol. Parents & Abducted Children Together (PACT) has also joined the search. PACT is a non-profit organisation registered in both the United States and the United Kingdom. PACT was founded in 1999 by Lady Meyer, when she was living in Washington, D.C. with her husband, then British Ambassador to the United States. PACT’s mission is to fight parental child abduction internationally and, in partnership with law enforcement, to locate and retrieve missing children. I am very grateful to all three organisations for using their considerable resources to help find Andrew. Andrew’s campaign is getting bigger by the day & many more international initiatives are being developed & will continue to be developed until he is found. Melinda, or anyone who knows Andrew’s whereabouts, can end this terrible ordeal for Andrew, herself, and me simply by contacting someone to arrange for the return of Andrew & herself to Australia in the least traumatic way possible. 31 March 2010 - Sydney, Australia stephanie stock | The continuing support of people all over the world for Ken in this tragic situation is truely fantastic. You know how much it means to Ken that he has your support. 20 March 2010 - Australia Kazzie Kennedy | I am writing this note directly to Melinda as my belief is she is watching or has someone watching where Ken is with his search, a search I might add will never stop until the day Andrew is back in the country he was born around the people who love him. My message to Melinda is simple, I am an abuse survivor, and my trauma lasted over thirty years, based on the lies, told by those who were supposed to have my best interests at heart. I, as a mother a grandmother and a survivor implore you to return to Australia with Andrew allowing the truth to be revealed and set about rebuilding a life where what is in the child’s best interest can be served. It must be said Melinda, with all you have said about not wanting Andrew to be abused, well prior to you leaving the country with him he hadn’t been, what you are doing amounts to child abuse, keeping an innocent child away from all that is familiar, his father, grandparents, aunties, uncles, cousins, his toys, his cars, his room and his bed. This is wrong on to many levels. I along with many others, who support Ken and his right to bring his son back to his home, know two things with certainty. One Ken will never stop the search, and two he has never said a bad word about you Melinda except of course to say he still to this day he is bewildered by your disappearance, and the removal of his son, and wants you to come home and allow what is real and what is truth to become your guide. So Melinda if you read this, please do what is right for Andrew bring him home putting an end to this poor child’s nightmare one he never had a say in becoming a part of. Please come home and do what is right and in Andrews best interest. 9 March 2010 - Australia Ken Thompson (Andrew's Dad) | Dear Anne; Kazzie, & Miss Maddie. Thanks for your comments. Melinda wrote to an Australian newspaper in January 2009 saying that one of the reasons she wouldn't return is that Andrew would be taken from her by the authorities as 'punishment'. This is not true. I have done everything I can to communicate this to Melinda through the media & through the Internet. The Australian authorities have also written to Melinda's family asking to meet with them to find a way for Melinda to return to Australia with Andrew in the least threatening way possible. Sadly, none of these letters have been answered & Melinda has not responded to any of the public appeals. No-one wants to take Andrew away from Melinda. What everyone wants is for Andrew to be reunited with me & to have the best possible relationship with his mum & dad. Melinda is either not seeing these messages or she is being given false & misleading information by people who are placing their own personal interests before the interests of Andrew; Melinda; me, and the rest of our families. The real risk to Melinda being separated from Andrew is her & Andrew being found by the authorities in another country. All Melinda needs to do to end this nightmare for everyone is to contact someone who can help her & Andrew return. 9 March 2010 - Sydney, Australia Miss Maddie | I agree wholeheartedly with you Kazzie. There is still time for Melinda (and her family) to do the right thing. Ken wants Andrew to have a relationship with both of his parents and I know that he will ensure that this happens.
