Melbourne father of two young boys believed to have been abducted by their mother in Sweden claims a taxpayer-funded feminist group called Kobra is involved. Swedish authorities are investigating members of Kobra amid allegations the group is using a vast network of "safe houses" and covert techniques to help the mother and children evade police. Pesor married Valette in Sweden and lived there for 12 years before he filed for divorce five years ago. Their sons were born in Sweden but are Australian citizens. Kobra recently received 77,000 Swedish Kronor ($A14,000) in funding from the Swedish government to support its work for women's and children's rights. More than 120 children are abducted from Australia each year. In close to three-quarters of the cases the mother is the main suspect. Group 'help' Sweden mum hide Aussie sons 22 June 2010 - Australia Kobra | Dear Wtf (What the F?) You seem blinkered to the fact that fathers have rights too. From what I have seen online about this case the runaway mother is wanted by the police in Australia because she took the kid away whilst the case was being heard in court (because she looked like losing the case which is rare - no smoke without fire and the husband is in the fire brigade !). Is that fair ? The courts would examine all evidence fairly so it looks like there is truth in what the father and court psychiatrist said about her according to the reports. She thought she was going to lose the game so she took her ball and ran away with it. Sadly the ball is a little child who will miss his dad. 22 June 2010 - Asia Miss Maddie I totally support Ken. I have seen the evidence and I am 100% certain. I admire how he has not spoken badly of Melinda and instead wants to help her. Ken wants Andrew to see both parents which is right and proper. There is so much research that points to the fact that this is child abuse and Andrew will suffer the longer that this goes on. We will never give up looking for Andrew, nor will the authorities or missing children organisations. Andrew's worldwide Facebook cause is growing everyday. If you want to see what some of it says just let me know. There has never been any intention to separate Andrew from his mother. All I've ever wanted is for Andrew to have the best relationship possible with both of us & our extended families. He has an international legal right to that. International Parental Child Abduction is one of the most extreme forms of child abuse that a parent can inflict upon their own child.
